We are offering to our guests a most comfortable and attractive accomodation in an old type fully renovated semi-detouched house with two apartments just in the neighbourhood of Acropolis, on Philopappou hillside, in the heart of Athens. The green area of Philopappou Hill cools down the locality, and the inner courtyard with plenty of plants gives you the feeling of peace and quiet in the very heart of the historic city. The street is a staircase, no cars, no noice, no smog.
All the historic sights - Acropolis, Theater of Herodus Atticus, Ancient Agora, Piloppappou Hill, Plaka, all museums are in 5-10 minutes of walk, you can easily walk to all important sights of the historic town. All other destinations in downtown and beyond the city can easily be reached by Metro, airconditioned buses or trams. Two metro stations (Acropolis and Syngrou-Fix) are in three minutes of walking distance, so are the bus stops and tram stations.
Restaurants, bars, cafés and shopping possibilities are in abundance, so that you can have your drink or meal at any time of day and night. But a fully equipped kithen is at hand in case you would like to have a cool drink or hot dish at any time.
One single and two double rooms are availlable. Perfect for families.
The rooms are comfortable and elegant, furnished with high standard pieces of furniture made of hard wood in good taste, beds with anatomic materasses. Air condition is available.
The bathroom is newly redecorated, includes a bath,washing basin and toilet.
The top terrace offers a breathtaking view of Acropolis just within a hand’s reach.
All the impotrant contacts are within a 30 minutes ride by Metro, you can easily catch a morning ferry to any island from the Port of Pireus.
The most beautiful beaches and suburban spas are near: just take an airconditioned bus or tram to have a 30 minutes pleasant yourney. Parking is free and safe in surrounding quiet streets.
The hosts are a Greek–Hungarian family, who are happy to help you with any question speaking perfect English, Italian, German, Russian, Greek and some French and Spanish.
